This is for the interviewer and I do hope you read the comment section. First, Jonathan was very gracious as well as answering your questions. Yet, you didn't seem to believe him. Or wanted to trip him up. Clearly you are not able to see all of the open demonic activity that is everywhere today and has become part of the culture for unbelievers. It is my hope that the scales will fall from your eyes and you will seek God and find a peace that is beyond understanding from Jesus. It is the kind of peace that nothing else but Jesus can provide. That's what surrendering to Jesus gives; indescribable peace on our walk with him in faith.

Jonathan is the closest thing to what I SEE when i read the Bible. I now have a visual representation of the stories I've read since i was a kid. I've told everyone about the CHOSEN since the 1st episode. My biggest praise is for Jonathan's portrayal of Yeshua. Also, I've heard many wonderful preachers give many powerful sermons over the last 45 years, but the CHOSEN is the first time I've "watched" these sermons come ALIVE... and that has made a world of difference!!!

Jonathan is an actor portraying Jesus. We all know this. But the Holy Spirit anoints what he is doing in the show. And we as believers feel closer to Jesus because of that. We who love The Chosen must really pray for him for the upcoming filming of Season 6 in 2025. It is the filming of the crucifixion. Very hard season for him and the whole cast. Keep them in prayer.

Jonathan Roumie is having a rigorous vocational (and spiritual) experience that has been generous to me and continues to be challenging and growthful for him. I think five or six years into 'being Jesus' leaves its marks of ownership, and he's been forthcoming. 'The Chosen' continues to be a gift to me. So is Jonathan Roumie. The reality of particularity abides nearby (for me) - and to me, it's not a burden or scandal, just another fact. And that seems embodied here by both interviewer and his guest. I'm persuaded there is no Fact different from or larger than G-d, and that the facts are friendly - often not convenient. 'Living the questions'? Anyway...we're all connected, entangled in holy love, and in G-d's image, unique and priceless. He's living out his vocation and his identity so beautifully and poignantly. I lost my husband and dog within 6 months of each other. I was alone living in the Northeast on the Canadian border. For the first time in my life I had no friends here and my family lived hundreds of miles away. I had 2 choices for survival. Drink or give my life to God. I stood in my living room, raised my hands, and said, "God, I am yours. Do what you want with me." That was the best decision of my life. God has blessed me in more ways than I could ever have imagined.

When Jonathan stated he does not speak about his political views, the reporter said oh yes, you did at the March for life last year. Jonathan‘s reply was beautiful. He said his views are completely spiritual, “I believe in the sanctity of Life” and “you cannot cherry Pick the aspects of your faith and dispense what you don’t like. For so many people it is political, but to me it is all spiritual.”

What The Chosen has done for me is it made the Bible come alive. To see how people lived day to day, how they connected with Jesus, and to show how human Jesus was. He had to have the same emotions we have in order to teach the people. Again, I can now imagine how it all went down and the Bible is no longer just words written, it came alive for me. It is interesting to hear this interviewer challenge the truth that all Christians know - that those who seek to control the culture in the West deliberately exclude Christianity from the conversation, and are actively hostile to it. This interviewer seemed to believe there was no such thing going on, and yet it is so obvious to those of us who believe. Jonathan did a good job in trying to convey this dynamic. He is brave to live out his faith in front of people, like this interviewer, who clearly disdain it. I deeply admire him for it.

Religion and Faith are two different things. Jonathan encapsulates both with a humble heart ❤️. I have always loved his acting and his portrayal of Yeshua is fabulous. David (interviewer), I understand you think hardball questions to try and “trip up” Jonathan, is justified, but in reality it only makes you appear not as well versed as an interviewer should be in this kind of interview. One-sided questions are not of the “true art of journalism”. Sometimes a personal Faith challenge is just that - personal. This shouldn’t be a “look at me!” kinda of interview.

I commend Jonathan on his faith. I was born & raised Catholic. Long story short, I renounced Catholicism at age 19 after an encounter with an overly zealous, judgmental priest. But I always maintained a strong belief in God. 37 yrs later, I was scanning for a new radio station. After a year of landing on the same one, I decided to take the K-LOVE challenge to “listen to nothing but Christian music for 30 days”. I came to realize that Jesus pursued me for that year. I began a personal relationship with Him; my life was changed forever, and I’ve never looked back. I decided on a new resolution of Surrender and Trust - surrender your entire life to God, and trust that He will get you where you are supposed to be. It’s not always easy to do, but I’ve found that the more you look for God, the more you will find Him, in every moment of your life. My way of spreading my faith is to simply wear Christian t-shirts and cover my car in Christian magnets. Can’t tell you how many times people have complimented me on them or asked to take pictures! God is great.

Perhaps you need to understand that Jonathan understands he was chosen to do this role and is humble about it and deeply spiritual and closer to his God that ever before. Because of his faith he understands. The thousands are cheering because he gives us an authentic Jesus... I just love Jonathan. His portrayal of Jesus has helped me relate to Jesus on a human level. We have been bombarded with the divinity of Jesus which is important of course. However, The Chosen helped me to really understand his human side. It opened my heart up to God’s love. Watching his relationships with his disciples, his followers, and the conversions showed me a Jesus who I could genuinely believe and feel his love. So I will be forever grateful to Jonathan for his Jesus, and the gift of being called back to my faith. My advice to everyone for the end of 2024 is to read book Your Life Your Game by Keezano🙌🏼I’ve read it, and it truly changed my life. It beautifully shows how connecting with God and your inner self can lead to spiritual growth and family/career success. A must-read.. 🙏

Something I have found to be true about Jesus is this - He can go DEEPER than our pains. He gets underneath our pain in order to HEAL us. He has done this with me many times. Old painful memories have bubbled up with many being ones where I need to forgive myself for being quite stupid. Remorse and/or regret can be SO HEAVY to carry. JESUS knows our pains. This is the reason He is called our Savior. He healed me of addictions and has given me so much strength. Also, He is the ultimate comedian. He transcended the cross. His joy He gives to us as we need it. Binge Jesus! USA
