I was saved when I was young, I'm 56 and to say I backslid is putting it mildly. I stumbled across The Chosen and all I can say is how much it has opened my heart, my eyes, my soul. It helped to bring me back to God and even to get baptized 🙏🏼. I thank Dallas, Johnathan, all the rest of the cast and crew for all they are doing to touch so many. Yes, The Chosen has certainly deepened my relationship w Jesus. I don't seem to be too successful in relationships in general, so pray for it please. Johnathan, I love you and appreciate the precious portrayal of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, in The Chosen. It has helped through many trials. I want to share a passage of scripture with you: Speaking from the Lord's own voice, He said while in Gethsemane, "For behold I, God, have suffered these things for all, that they might suffer if they would repent; But if they would not repent, they must suffer even as I; Which suffering caused myself, even God, the greatest of all, to tremble because of pain, and to bleed at every pore, and to suffer both body and spirit -- and would that I might not drink the bitter cup and shrink -- Nevertheless, glory be to the Father, and I partook and finished my preparations unto the children of men." ❤

The cross was agony as well where Jesus felt all that again, including the mockery and humiliation from those He came to save. Here is where He overcame death and was the first to be resurrected, as you know. Most Christians don't place much emphasis in Gethsemane, but He spoke in His own words as to His suffering there. You are a special child of God, and you, Dallas, and the crew are bringing many to Christ. Love to you my precious brother.

This movie took me back in time in such a glorious way! I was a child of the late 1960’s (literally)…and at 9 years old, I remember the newscasts, the “Jesus” movement, etc. There was no talk of God in the home I grew up in, but the Lord was putting others in my life in order to bring me to Him. Finally, in 1980, I said yes! From then on, I always carried my Bible. My younger sister saw me reading it and one day asked me if I had become a “Jesus Freak”. Without hesitation, I replied, “YEAH.” My entire family heard me. My first church was Cavalry Fellowship in Seattle and was blessed to hear Pastor Chuck Smith speak in person there. Personally, I don’t want to even imagine what my life would have been like had I ignored God’s calling! 😖

That scene brought me to Jesus and my healing🙌🙌 Im off all my physic meds completely healed my Dr is still scratching his head on how mental illness and addiction is just cured🙌🙌 but I kno what happened it was Jesus. I was saved when I was 11 years old. I have been a Christian for a time I cannot tell. Needless by that remark it's been awhile! I cannot tell you how many times I have wished I had been serving the Lord as long as I've been saved but I haven't I'm ashamed to say. I've not lived a life that I'm very proud but I've a Father who has fogiven me for all my sins. Thank you Holy God for your redeeming Blood that without it no one can be forgiven. Just like others, l had lost my faith, my dear friend John was telling me about the Chosen. So I told him that I would watch it, so I did, and I cried through the 1st through 3rd season. Remembering what I had learned. I heard the word to forgive. I had carried the hate for one person who had judged me and my family in the Catholic Church, I was a devoted Catholic every Sunday going to church and after going to teaching Sunday school. Just watching The Chosen the lesson l learned was l was hurting myself that nun had no right to judge me because I wanted my daughter to attend catholic school. Yes I let that grudge go, I still have not stepped in that church, I realized that I only need God and prayers. I thank God for my good friend John ❤ also thank the Chosen for helping me find myself and my faith ❤. Johnathan not sure if you will read this but you are a amazing person ❤️ ❤ I feel free!

Enjoyed praying with you today, this is my first time of saying the rosary of St Faustina. I say the scriptural rosary everyday with you on your hallow app. There are so many different options like the bible readings and parables and more. Just started watching the chosen only a few months ago when my son told me about this series he found. Then I saw it has been on for 3 years!
