I can confirm Toews has already spoke to Winnipeg and it's very possible.. Expect Toews to spend atleast 2 weeks conditioning in the AHL before suiting up for the jets.. He would be a great addition too the bottom 6.. Welcome home Toews!!

I don't see it happening till the summer,if it happens at all. no gm is gonna take a chance on him. winnipeg and avs are top contenders and are'nt into recruiting old men to play even in a bottom 6 role. If and I mean if he comes back before then he would need a month of conditioning at least he's probly lost ten pounds since he played. The oilers might do it with the history of stan bowmen and toews and they can't afford to give up assets right now so by signing him to a pto and sending him to minors till they might need him. lemiux came back from back surgury around that age i beleive so it's in the realm of possibility.
