This is my anthem, i went into hospital January 8th 2024, was released January 17th 2024 being told I'm in total kidney failure and been doing dialysis since January 10th 2024. I know God is going to use me as a testimony of what HE can do. I truly believe with all my heart that i will be the miracle that walks out of dialysis without having to have a transplant! 🙏🏻

Dude... im battling with covid-19 last night my chest tightened up and it became hard to breathe. I started to panic and live in fear. I decided to go for a drive to clear my mind. This song came on the radio and the lyrics of the chorus are so powerful. I remember putting my hands on my crackling and weak chest singing out to God that He would get the glory from this. And that exact moment God's presence flooded my car and I began to sing, and cry, and laugh and completely forget about my pain. My pain was gone my hurting chest was gone. I slept with TOTAL peace that night. All I have to say is thank you for these words.

This song deeply hits me. I was diagnosed with cancer 18 months ago at the age of 20. It sounds so weird, but I wasn't all that surprised when my doctor told me. I was struggling in college. I would submit my assignments last minute and would sleep all of the time. I remember being so frustrated with myself. I was so tired and struggled. I kept on asking God what was wrong with me. Mentally, I wanted to go to college and get my degree for my dream career. But physically, I was so drained and just wanted to sleep. I just thought it was stress or long term side effects of covid. But I never gave up. I still showed up to every class and completed every assignment. Until, I just decided to see my doctor because I was having other symptoms that just didn't add up. When I found out it was cancer, I knew what was wrong with me. Why I was feeling the way I have been. It all made sense. Things happened so fast. I quickly felt pain from my cancer. Within a week, my cancer grew a couple of cm and spread to another lymph node. I was admitted in the hospital and was in the most pain I've ever been in. I was so upset. I knew that I was going to have to drop out of college. I didn't know how bad the cancer was at first. I truly thought about dying at that time and it was scary. But the one thing I kept on thinking to myself was that something good with come out of this. I know it makes no sense. But In order to stay so positive, I had to believe it. I was diagnosed with stage 2 Hodgkin's Lymphoma (which is the most treatable cancer). It could have been a lot worse for me. I thank God everyday that I am still here. It wasn't all so bad. Because of me dropping out of college, once in remission, I ended up getting a job as a cashier (because my specific college only accepts students once a year, in August and I was still going through treatments at that time). Even though that was not where I wanted to be at that time in my life, I still wouldn't change a thing. I met a coworker of mine who is the sweetest old lady I know. She knew nothing about me and randomly told me that she has terminal cancer and I cried for weeks after she told me. But if things had not happened the way they did for me, I never would have gotten to know her. We were able to hang outside of work one time (now we can't because her health has gotten worse). But we still talk on the phone often and I consider her a very good friend of mine. I could have never met her and the thought of that is so crazy to me. In a way, I feel like it was meant to be for both of us to meet. I also connected with my other coworkers too. Working as cashier helped me get out my shell more too. I also got another job as a PT tech. Because of that job, I gained so much more confidence. And I love everyone there too. There are days where I'll be driving and just cry because of how good my life is. How blessed I am. How happy I am. I never once cried happy tears in my life until this has happened to me. This song hits me because even though I was at my lowest point, I still trusted God that things will be better and that there is a reason for this. I truly do believe that. All the pain and the suffering has led me to be a more caring and faithful individual. He truly does get the glory in this.

My sister realized two years ago that her husband of 17 years was an abuser. Unfortunately, this was after he caused my 14 year old nephew to have a traumatic brain injury. Now 16, she just had him committed due to extreme anger & suicidal ideation. Her husband’s pre-trial hearing is tomorrow. Their divorce will be finalized after the criminal proceedings. My nephew’s brokenness has kept me up at night in prayer, taking it back to God over and over again. I know God has a plan for his life. I bear witness to the great forgiveness and healing that comes from our God.

I heard this song for the first time as we planned my sister's funeral. I remember praying with her and reassuring her God has her. So when doctors said they couldn't do anything more. I said how could this wonderful woman of God go through so much! Dedicated wife, loving mother, super grandma, auntie to thousands and best sister, friend, cheerleader I could every ask for. Your words reminded me that no matter what she went through she never let go of his hand and so no matter what happened God gets the glory!!!! Love this song! It is a word for today for all who are suffering with hardships. God's will for us is to be holy and be conformed in the imagine of Christ, unfortunately it usually requires suffering, but it is for His glory.
