Well his powers have matured, but he still doesn’t have all of Clark’s abilities. He doesn’t have telescopic, X-ray, thermal or night vision, and after this fight his knuckles are bruised and bleeding so he doesn’t have invulnerability quite yet. The Eradication sped up the process definitely, but he’s still got a long way to go

Although, look at his face at 3:44 after Jordan runs off at super speed. He does *not* look happy at all, and their interaction had been kind of awkward. I think that Jonathan is nursing greater jealousy over Jordan's growing powers than he admits. Remember that Jon used to be the one who protected Jordan. Now their roles have reversed.

Especially since his brother needed to use it to get an edge. That's assuming that Candice even got a good look. When normal people fistfight, split knuckles are pretty common. Jordan was punching an adult who had just taken a hit of X-K and thus had temporary super powers. What I can't seem to spot in the scene, due to how fast it runs, is when Jordan could have gotten hit in the face. Also, per my post above, why this would have been a problem with meeting Sarah. Jon is not exactly popular in Smallville right now and it shouldn't have been hard to explain to Sarah that Jordan helped Jon in a fight with some bully. Although it could be that healing factor was going to fix the cuts by the next day and she might have noticed at school that Jordan's injuries were gone if she had seen them the night before.

Which is a very real possibility with Jon. For example, what if his *only* powers are minor resistance to injury and somewhat faster healing? It seemed the the X-K might activate his powers, but apparently not even when his life is in danger. The writers may be latching onto the idea that a number of fans seem to have endorsed, which is that Jonathan will the Lois to Jordan's Clark.

@@daniels7907 Yeah I agree. Jon also seems to have enhanced speed, endurance, and general athletic abilities, which is why his parents originally thought he was the son with the powers in episode 1 of the first season. He is above a normal teenager, but not super powered like Clark and Jordan.

Now that we got a new actor to play Jonathan I really hope that the showrunners/ writers make Jonathan Bisexual like in the comics or Now that Jordan and Sarah are broken up they can make him Bisexual. But I'm really hoping that they make Jonathan Bisexual and give him powers.
