I thank God for the teaching for the Church of God and Christ I was born and raised in the Church of God and Christ I lived in Savannah Georgia for 9 years and I moved in Chicago when I was 9 years old my mother got saved 1975 after she had had a major heart surgery and I tell you it ain't nothing like the Church of God in Christ I'm not into denominations either as long as the word of God is being preached and it's just pure true holiness but it ain't nothing about like the Church of God and I said I thank God I thank God for the teaching I wasn't perfect I back slid a couple of times when I was young but one thing about it the Bible said train up a child in the way he should go and he won't depart from it

This reminds me of my grandparents and great-grandparents in the way they worshipped and praised God which was very instrumental in my becoming the Woman of Faith I am today. I pray that I am the same example to my four grandchildren!!! Say what you want but these annointed Saints knew how to call on the Name of Jesus!!! They pierced the gates of Heaven with their prayers, praise and worship!! Praise God!!!

I miss so many of the old Saints from Chicago I thank God for the teaching the teaching was so sound the teaching kept me from a many of things a backflips several times but God I've never experienced drugs or alcohol a day of my life I thank God because going up in Inglewood on the south side of Chicago so many of my schoolmates and people that I knew from 71st and Paulina and around Murray Park it just all over Inglewood a lot of those people here became drug addicts and alcoholics but God never gave me or my sister the wheel of the desire or the craving to do drugs or alcohol and I thank God for that
