Installing A 9-Volt Battery Box Into My Guitar!!!!!! [Walkthrough]

Recently got this to use as a tour guitar. Sounds great with the custom pickups but not having easy access to the battery is a big problem.
Made this modification to make road life easier in the future!

Well I guess that's one way to do it. I prefer the make a 1/2" thick wood template method. Then use a plunge router to make the hole using the template as a router guide.

I looked up 9 volt battery box on Amazon and just picked the one that I liked the most. Hope that helps
