@@madam-mint Because at the time, vocaloid was way more popular in Japan. The only thing that they know mostly about the western world is the fact that there are white people. There are some animated PVs that do depict only Lola as black. Leon is white in most animated PVs and in fan art. Also, blue-eyed soul exists. I could suggest some artists for you (Bobby Caldwell, Jon B., Joey Dosik, etc.).

alright, so i'm back to the comment section just to point out some details that i absolutely LOVE about this video (which just adds to how good it is). bare in mind that this is going to be REALLY long, since this is a huge medley, after all. now let's begin: 0:28 gakupo is singing a kaito song! not a gakukai shipper but i think it's pretty neat, especially considering just how the fandom tends to portray their relationship, whether romantic or platonic. 1:53 the way you use anon and kanon to portray duality??? that is a really intelligent move right there. 5:09 a soft song with a childlike and bright feel to it, yet also has a melancholic vibe with gloomy lyrics... i really can't think of any other loid that would fit it more than yuki kaai. which you REALLY nailed her usage here, by the way. 5:30 mikoto and karakuri pierrot miku have a really similar color scheme! also, i think this might be a reference to the one time you used maiko for this song in one of your utau medleys, and this time you chose another demon/horned character to continue the pattern. am i right? :D 7:17 vegetable juice... gachapoid is green... veggies are green.... i see what you did there. 7:26 i really appreciate how you used chris and amy for a duet song, but even more than that i find it sadly fitting how the lyrics are "all the hate, the hate is all on me".... the sad reality of most of the fandom hating them because of their designs. 8:55 the song's title is daybreak... and one of the most popular ia songs is daybreak frontline. coincidence? i think not. 9:33 i will never not find it funny how you used bruno and tonio instead of bruno/clara or tonio/prima with this one. to be fair, it IS the superior pairing. 10:22 rolling girl's pv features a wounded and patched up miku. at the same time, it's sung by fukase, who has burn scars all over his face. in one way or another, both rolling girl and miku have damaged skin. 10:48 you really saw maika's multilingual capabilities and went "hey you know what? let's make her sing in three different languages!" and honestly? that's really epic! also it might be a nod to your multilingual maika covers you made before. 10:59 i will forever appreciate how you used sachiko for a traditional japanese-styled song... and also tuned her to make her sound like an enka singer! i think that's a brilliant detail. 11:10 of course you'd use zola project for a trio song,, still sounds amazing! i love how their different types of voices harmonize here. 11:28 this part is a reference to momocashew's black board cover with vy2 isn't it? really clever reference right there!! i love that cover too :) 12:03 when this part came, i can tell you shivers genuinely ran down my spine. i adore how you used leon and lola, the first two vocaloids, to sing kokoro, a song about an android who received a "miracle"; the ability to feel human emotions. i just think it's an amazing representation of how vocaloids, as emotionless they may sound, have been able to convey various thoughts and emotions from different people who have used them throughout the years, and hearing leon and lola, the ones who started it all, sing this song with that context in mind.... it just has the power to move you. 13:15 double lariat ends with luka in outer space... which is the theme of stardust's character design and concept! 13:20 i might be stretching a bit here, but i think hello, planet kinda fits tianyi's character concept, with her being an alien from a really advanced world and all. probably a huge stretch though. also, i'm gonna point out some individual moments that despite not having much interesting details in particular, they just stand out to me a lot for some reason: 0:15 gumi and nana are both green-haired 0:40 combined with her pirate design and cool voicebank, silver bullet with sora is perfect and absolutely BADASS. 0:58 merli's design and voice fit ee, aa sou so well! 1:40 i really appreciate how you paired hime with a cutesy song, the same way you gave merli a mature song. actually, a lot of these are just gonna be me talking about how much certain loids fit certain songs - 2:16 pink loid for pink-themed pv 2:22 you used kaori for paired wintry winds... as you should. her voice type is so specific that it's hard to find songs that really suit her, so i'm glad you gave her the right one! 2:44 i might be wrong, but i think this song fits ling's canonical personality a lot in some way. also, she sounds PHENOMENAL here. 3:55 really appreciate how you used oliver for a ballad!! 4:21 idk why, but i just feel this song is perfect for a character like kiyoteru. 5:47 is it just me or the girl from the pv kinda looks like zunko? 6:16 I CAN TALK ABOUT HOW LEGENDARY THIS PART IS FOR AGES...... FLOWER IS LITERALLY MADE FOR THIS SONG AND YOU DID HER JUSTICE

Are people really hating the V5 standards just because of their designs? Geez, not everything needs to be anime styled! This was like when those idiots were bitching about Bruno and Clara’s original designs and tbh they didn’t look half bad! I should try to avoid the weeb side of the fandom especially since I’m a fan of lesser known characters in which that side seems to be oblivious towards. People just PLEASE show some love towards the non-Asian language and/or non anime styled Vocals and stop being mean to them!
