@@HermanaHillary I agree that rap has a track record of being profane, violent, and sexual which is pretty well earned, but some people have trouble separating the lyrics they expect to hear from secular rap from the lyrics that are actually being spoken in Christian rap. If the music reminds us of vulgar things, distracts us from keeping our thoughts pure and focused on God’s goodness (Philippians 4:8), or triggers negative feelings, then yes, Christian rap probably isn’t the best thing for us, but God can use any type of music to communicate His truth. Personally, I don't listen to Christian nor secular rap, so this type of music doesn't impact me negatively with my worship with God.

​@@HermanaHillary I don't think God is someone boring as you are describing. The things that are important in worship music, is the message and that the song has to be God-centered. God made a lot of sounds so we can mix them with armony and rythm to make music, also people have different voices and some genres suit them better. As I said, something important is the message, the music is the one that delivers the message. That's why some music with subliminal messages or satanic lyrics have effects on people, the music delivers the message.

@HillarySpeak TheTruth Christian rap is about the message more than the music itself, never listened to one english christian rap tbh, I only know spanish christian rap songs in which the God's work is exalted. Heavy metal is more about the heavy sounds of the guitar, this makes it look somewhat violent imo, I never listened christian heavy metal tbh. Punk rock christian music? Never heard of it too. Most Christian songs I know from the local church are some kind of pop-rock (Barak and Miel San Marcos). I got bored of those songs since they spam them too much around here then I found about Rivers and Robots which are great tbh. Creativity and innovation are good from time to time.

Whew! Sir, you have no idea just how much your music ministry is easing and calming the storm that tried to stir up in my emotions recently. My spiritual mother, who entered into my life in 1987, took her last breath peacefully in her sleep on Monday, 4-3-2021. When I received THAT phone call it, shattered my heart and soul. She was one of those holy pillars in the foundation of my personal relationship with Jesus Christ. She faithfully tended to the garden of my heart to ensure that all weeds were uprooted the second she discovered them and replenished the good soil of my heart with the divine seeds of His Word by the careful instructions of love and wisdom of His Holy Spirit. I could go on and on however none of us have that kind of time and the Internet doesn't have that amount of space. LOL! I will always love and cherish her and the lessons that she taught me over the years. Young man, I don't know how but "all" of your music has been like a healing balm to my soul tonight. The funny thing is that one of your most recent worship videos of just you, your keyboard, and the presence of His Holy Spirit seated in what looks like an upper room was literally a "random suggestion" by KZbin on Monday night. I clicked on it. Loved it. Clicked on another. And another. The next thing I know I've "purchased & downloaded 100% of ALL your music". Period. I don't want to miss a single note from your heart or your instruments, including computer generated sounds, which I'm normally not a huge fan of since I much prefer live instruments and raw talent. Your music has found great favor in my heart. And you most definitely have many talents and a pure gift of music from The Lord. No doubt about it.
