I know that others have mentioned earlier, but you should listen to the original song that was sampled in this one (not the same version, but same song). It's called "Mitt lilla barn", is performed by Jojje Wadenius, and written by children's book author Barbro Lindgren. It's a banger. It is technically a kids' song but Jojje is a great musician and the album Goda' Goda', which the song is from, is in my opinion one of the best Swedish albums of all time. Another song from this album, "Mitt sår", was sampled in the song "Shonnar vet" by The Latin Kings. It's my favorite song from the album.

Fun fact, Fubu was THE biggest brand in sweden for people into hiphop during the late nineties. When hiphop clothing stores first opened in sweden it was filled with mostly fubu and wutang branded clothes, and if you looked at schoolyards during that time most middle and high schoolers wore fubu.

Just D var ändå en influens för att etablera rappen i Sverige. När en ny musikgenre kommer så kan det låta som att det är skämtmusik, men tror att de flesta barn födda på 80-talet har stått på discon och dansat häftigt till deras musik. You've gotta check out some Just D. They were the first to put out hip-hop albums in Swedish, in the early '90s. I'd recommend checking out "Grannar" from their third album or "Relalalaxa" from their second. They were very versatile and some of their tracks were on the corny side and some were on the heavy side (and some managed to be both)...and some were just straight up cringe, but those two tracks are sort of quintessential Just D in 'normal mode'.

I am not a rap lover but Ken Ring i like. We had a Hip hop band in the early ninethies Called "Just D" I think they and Latin Kings where the first Hip hop groups singing in swedish. They are white guys that have very humorous lyrics. Check them out! Very funny songs. "Nu är det jul igen" is played on the radio evety christmas

White dude in the FUBU is actually not mocking, the songs a call against racism and to unite the "orten" (lower class suburbs people). Hiphop was a strong subculture in the 90s, only a few songs got well known outside the burbs.
