The song, the team, the excitement unified Sweden that summer. Very special

If you are not familiar with these three guys' careers, I'll just mention that the three lines ”Flickirna har blommor i sitt hår”, ”Där står alla flickorna på rad” and ”Tillsammans är vi oslagbara” are all references to earlier individual hits buy these three guys.

That summer is soo memorable. I had my second son the 2 of July. All of the fathers and most of the mothers crowded in the TV-room in the hospital. Someone screamed: His name will be Martin! And the summer was so hot - I could not sleep bc of the heat, my new baby and ppl screaming in the neighbourhood bc the matches were sent on tv in the middle of the night. And this song is so connected to that summer.

One of the best songs ever, brings back memories of that amazing summer -94, and your reaction is hilarious! 😆😆😆 I was 20 back then and I laughed in a very bigsisterly way at my younger brother when he started to sit up all night watching the game. But a week later I sat right there next to him... Love this one!

Oh, this brings back memories. Because the championship was played in the United States, most games were played at a time when it was the middle of the night in Sweden. All soccerfans set their alarm-clocks to get up and watch the games in real-time on TV.
