I own two of the Jonathan Browning Mountain Rifles, a .50 and a .54, other frohtloaders have come and gone but I will never part with these two. Many production guns carry the Hawken name but are a far cry from the real thing. Along with the Pedersoli Rocky Mountain Rifle the JBMR is as close as it gets in a production gun to the real thing. Fit, finish and materials are all high quality and as for performance they are very accurate. They are hard to come by but if you are a fan of Hawken or plains style rifles they are well worth grabbing if the opportunity arises.
