Marvelous accomplishment, Jonathon. I thought something should soften that upper turn piece, but I was against something ornate as well. I was a bit stumped as to what to do, and then you came up with the perfect answer. Good on you! 💯💫 Of course, Miss Lily was the "pieces de resistance". Such a precious kitty! Please give her a cuddle for me.💞 She deserves a little treat for being such a good model. Thank you Jonathon. Much love to you.

How very fascinating to listen to the introduction Story Jonathon! Thanks for having taken the time explain, also because I just might've had a Sad heart to see such a lovely piece 'not restaured' the classical way. Now I can watch the transformation light heartedly and am eager toes what you will do with it. But I trust you it will be done with good taste and much sensitivity. Oh yeah and what a lovely Ring you are wearing! Inspired by an ancient culture? The new handles are superb! The 'Woodyoubend' as well ! It should have been like that always! Quite a lot tof precision work! But you excel on that! Forth Keyhole I might have tried Diamondshape but it looks good the way you did. it!

If I were staging A Christmas Carol by Dickens, I’d use this as Ebenezer Scrooge’s desk. I’ve no idea if it’s the right period, but I think the audience would relate to it, with the touches of “gold.” I love its shape, also.

Wow, Jonathon you really nailed it. I love the colour, I used it myself very recently on a side board. But as you said, majority of people would go with a mould or decopage on the round upper back of the unit. However, your idea of the slim trim looks so beautiful, simple and original. Love absolutely everything about it, including the handles. Well done, you smashed it again. 💙 PS. Miss Lily is such model 😄

Hi Jonathan. Question? I’m adding some satin paint to a piece I have already painted so I bought the wrong colour and since it’s unopened I’m exchanging it. Cabrian blue???? I use the term...blind mans feel....i touch or rub an area w out looking at it. Believe it ir not. Ur fingers see more than the eye...if that makes any sense. I look away...i rub the areas....my fingers feel the dips, imperfections before my eyes do. I touch it lightly. It works really well.
