Yeah, the last two songs are actually bonus tracks and weren't included in the original record or on the latest vinyl issue. I love how the true final title track has that sound of a scratched record looping, giving it the feeling that her one and only album continues to loop forever into eternity. Very fitting.

Lauryn definitely deserves more props for her rapping prowess. I had the pleasure of seeing The Fugees perform back in the late 90s, I can't describe how incredible she was. Everyone was just captivated by her, she commanded the audience something wicked. Probably the best performer I've ever had the honour of seeing.

Even with today's internet access to all information & recording technology it will be so hard to come up with an album like this, it's really crazy how talented & musically brilliant those 90s artists were.. I often hear people say it's just nostalgia but it's not that, the fact is today's music is trash in comparison specially given the fact how we have access to everything online it should be better not worst... Its really sad

If you’re looking for another great debut album from a female rapper, listen to Azealia Banks’ Broke with Expensive Taste. She may be talking shit a lot of times but she’s mad talented (some even say she’s the Lauryn Hill of this era - musically). The album is a great fusion of electronic and hiphop music, something like Vince Staples’ Big Fish Theory (but Azealia’s album came out earlier). Every song in that record still sounds fresh today.

There is for sure an argument that can be made that this is the best hip hop album EVER made. The amount of truth in this Album is crazy. She is so much more then a voice. She is an educator, using her voice to plant seeds in the minds of humanity. This album made everyone stop and think about life and where they fit in societal prejudice, especially women. She's literally a vessel for truth from whatever higher power the universe has. She's a poet.
