You do a great job showing the most important part of plowing is having a clean well maintained plow. If that is all done, it will do the best job.

Proof that if you take care of something, it'll last and good to see Pop out and about. Blessings

The plow works as good as a new one. Maintenance is so important.

Yes sir! It's a really good old plow.

The late 1930 and 1940s John Deere wheels and hubs have exactly the same setup in them. I have taken apart an early 1940s JD 4B 2 bottom furrow plow with chisel points. I pull this plow behind my 1941 JD model A. Looks good together.

I've haven't really taken apart many plows, so it's fun to see how they work.

Nice plough that 👍 adjustment on the wheel axles is identical to the IH ploughs 👌

I have an Oliver plow and it has a similar adjustment collar

You need a roller on that lift arm where it contacts the trip clutch. If you need one I have parts. We have over 40 of the allis pull types and plenty of parts
@jonelsonster9 ай бұрын
That's good to hear. I do need one. I could also use another lift assist spring for this plow (I'm sorry, I don't know the correct name or part number) Do you have one of those too?
@justinblain9289 ай бұрын
@@jonelsonster lift assist? The big spring that runs from the front cross bar to the axle or the spring that goes on the arm?
@jonelsonster9 ай бұрын
@@justinblain928 yes, I Believe it's the long one from the front cross member... But it's probably best if I could send you a photo. Not sure the best way to get into contact with you, but if you send me an email (magnetojoes@gmail.com) then I can respond to you tomorrow with a picture. Then we can also talk about prices and such. I really appreciate your help!
