As someone who lived through many Jonesboro tornados, you can tell that a lot of these comments are not coming from tornado alley. When so many tornados come around you, you track it on your phone or whatever and have a shelter to go to but you might as well watch the storm happen instead of having a panic attack in the shelter.

Absolutely. I grew up just south of Little Rock and in the 80s through 90s radar technology wasn’t what it is today. If they told you it was going to be in your county, you took shelter, listened to the radio, and hoped for the best. But now, they can tell you what street the tornado is going to hit, so you can better plan and better shelter. I wish we’d had this tech back when I was a child. It would’ve saved me so much anxiety and ridicule from classmates.

And ill tell you what, I hope i never see a tornado with my naked eye in my life. Those things have to be the scariest things next two a large earthquake. Im torn cause its like, whats worse? At the end of the day if you have a tornado bunker your good, you cant escape an earthquake… but they are alot less frequent, and tornado level damage from earthquake is even more rare. But CA is so due for a massive earthquake. It feels like cranking a jack in the box. And youve been cranking for a while. Theres got to be a better place than california, thats not tornado prone. Or hurricane prone.. or 120 degrees in the summer. But where is that is the question?

I’ve been through Irma and Andrew and even with all that I will take my chances with the hurricanes. It absolutely frightened me to death and that small tornado is something that if I tried to imagine as what the Midwest experiences I could not. Tornado’s are scary enough, but in the dark. I couldn’t imagine. Praying for those effected by them and will be effected in the future

May I ask where is the tornado at in the video?
@Humble_Bee.2 жыл бұрын
I caught the outskirts of the system unknowingly.

If this had happened during the day, this would’ve been the most terrifying thing we’ve seen in a few years.
@jcfins75 Жыл бұрын
I think it was more terrifying at night, simply because you couldn’t see what was going on.

Omg thats so scary to see a tornado at night and those tornado sirens holly molly
@Opiuth2 жыл бұрын
Good job trying to cover as long as possible, even though it’s only from one place you kept recording. That’s worth the attention considering the circumstances.

One of the worst times for a witch to form... in the dark when you can't see where she is. Terrifying.

Well a little while after. Only a couple passed in Arkansas...sadly. Most of the casualties were in Kentucky.

At 3:48 I distinctly heard the mating call of the Arkansas Bullfrog. That was perfectly captured. Could be passed along to National Geographic.

Truly spectacular footage hope you are safe and well, the power of the lord is truly amazing. For the power he shows is mighty but one must not be afraid for he will protect you from his rath. I’m not a religious person but when I see weather I know this is something that is not made by your average man.

That was so eerie to me. It went calm so quickly. I love storms, but being from Pennsylvania and experiencing storms here now in Arkansas, it's completely different!
