The fact that people actually chose to follow this clown says alot about society. Even today in 2024, people still fall for the same typical trappings of false teachers and ignore obvious red flags that points to cult behavior. Any real Christian that knows the Bible and studies the word of God, could easily see Jim Jones isn't a man of God. Once i hear someone preaching or saying anything that is not biblical or doesn't mirror the Christian faith, i know not to listen and have nothing to do with any church like that.
