I actually learned to speak English from all my black homies. I remember my homies mom call me the n word. I was like that’s a bad word. She said you an n word to look at how you live and how you’re treated. We moved to the bay when I was 7 and in the hood I grew up in everyone used that word. It was just a part of the culture. I understand the point you’re making just trying to give you a different perspective. Much respect OG by the way we are probably the same age I might even be older.

Pops got wisdom...thank you for that old school. That even resonated with me. You gave me the words to speak to my youngins. ♥️💯

The point of a reaction is to go into it blind. Doing research ahead of time ruins the emotion you wouldve felt by knowing nothing

I mean how would they know that though.

Bc it's common sense. Watch a movie with a big plot twist and tell me that knowing the plot twist wouldn't affect your REACTION. Could you still appreciate the movie? Sure, but that feeling of being surprised makes it so much better.

@@bobbythompson8661 I mean with most regular songs, they don’t got plot twists.

I love this song and it hits so hard. What blew my mind was I clearly remember my mom telling me this story trying to warn me about gang violence and the people you surround yourself with. Then hearing this song a month or so later with some friends at the park. I was in probably 8th grade. And realizing the song was literally the story she told me, blew my mind.
