Can people please stop saying that he's angry or jealous? Like come on this is the Jonghyun who cried watching Danger mv because he was so proud of Taem. He promoted the shit out of Taemin on his sns and kept on saying how proud he was. SO PLEASE. He was just really focused because it was Taem's first stage. I just stumbled across this video and was reading comments. I have something to say but the original conversation was months old so I will simply leave my thoughts on the matter here. I saw someone was talking about Jjong being jealous of Taemin. Not only is that the most ridiculous thing ever but also very disrespectful to say about Jonghyun. One of Jjong's biggest concerns was people judging him and misinterpretating. You are doing exactly that from a barely 3 min video. You don't know the things going on in his mind as he watched Taemin. People that didn't understand him often said he looked angry alot. When in truth, Jjong is a perfectionist to the smallest details. Jjong coached Taemin from day 1. It's almost like a Teacher watching their student. Do not assume that because Jjong is watching Taemin so seriously it is because he is "jealous". You need to go by what you know about Jonghyun. Most importantly, he LOVES Taemin. He is his #1 fan and the president of the Taemint fanclub for a reason. Second of all as I said already, he helped Taemin from the beginning. Jonghyun and Taemin also had very different styles. Jjong did struggle with not feeling good enough but never once do I think he looked at Taemin while performing and thought "I wish I could do that" because he could do that and he knew he could. There was alot going on with him but being a jealous person was most certainly not part of it.

desyartika D wibawati I hope you will see my message. TAemin performed many concerts in 2018 and 2019. During one of his huge concerts in Japan he sobbed onstage and the audience sobbed with him! We all grieve differently. He took his grief, his love, his loss for Jonghyun onto the stage. Taemin carried the legacy of Shinee onto the stage too. I believe this was how he wanted to repay Jonghyun and share his love for him. Also, in 2018 TAemin went to Chile with other artist for music bank. There he paid tribute to Jonghyun by performing Hypnosis. His eyes welled up with tears but he stood alone on that stage while thousands of shawols were screaming his name. Please understand while he was trying to heal ( if you understand Taemin and it is the Asian culture) he will draw strength from every ounce of his body to not embarrass but stand proud for himself and just as important Shinee! I am pretty sure, I read TAemin recorded, Under My Skin which is about his feelings at the time. They are feelings of guilt and anger at himself. This is a sad but normal feelings. Just as we all TAemin wished he could turn back time as all of us do too. We all have to let go and celebrate the life of Kim Jonghyun! ❤️🌹❤️

This is a proud mom moment. Jonghyun literally watched Taemin grow up from a sweet teenager to a charismatic man. He wrote songs for him, helped improve his vocal technique, and went to every concert he could. No one should ever doubt the love Jonghyun had for Taemin. I'm not going to bother to read the comments here because I don't want to expose myself to anyone's negative bullshit that Jonghyun shows even a hint of jealousy or anger here. My god, people are so awful, always looking for the worst-possible interpretation of every move an artist makes or any word they say. In this video, which I enjoy watching, I see one intense performer preparing to go on stage while watching a close personal friend and colleague perform at the same time. I think he's analyzing and soaking it in as a professional does when witnessing the performance of another artist. To read all these other dramatic emotions into his set and sturdy countenance is silly. Mainly, I just kept thinking as I watched this how beautiful jonghyun was, with talent off the charts. He had the best, most powerful voice in SHINee and his dancing was at least as good as Taemin, better, I think.
