I watched The Untamed just a few months ago and was quite sad bcs, I think about how the fandom is not active unlike back on 2019. I'm happy to watch them picked Yibo to act as Lan Wangji, and now him and Xiao Zhan are like living WangXian's life. It's sad to hear that they are not that close unlike before but we, BJYX fans, hope that they still keep in touch and will support every of thrir decisions. This song is so familiar with XianYun in terms of how they are both both Lan WangJi waiting and yearning for the other. This one more like he’s talking to Wei Ying like how he’s supposed to live without the other. XianYun is about how he tried everything to feel the other again, yearning for Wei WuXian’s presence. I would say that I like the translation for XianYun better since the song better portrayed Lan WangJi as someone who struggles to speak his mind just like how he shows his love to Wei WuXian through his actions and not words. XianYun didn’t tell exactly how much Lan WangJi yearned in his heart, but through his actions. How he was so lost. I imagine this song being what he really feels on the inside while he’s also trying to remember Wei WuXian’s tenderness.
