Summary:
The events in this video takes place around a remote setting of a traditional Tripuri village where the village youths set out to announce the arrival of Baba Garia through their dance (Garia is a traditional Tripuri festival). In doing so, the actor (Mithun) discovers an unfamiliar face in the crowd which intrigues and fascinates him throughout the events of this song, and forces him to imagine himself and that girl in a vivid dream that distances him from the real world events happening around him. He is so mesmerized by her beauty that love becomes instant. As they’re about to wind up the dance ceremony, he is forced to awaken from his vivid dream and continue with playing his flute. It then rains and they all finish their dance in a rush to save themselves from the heavy down pour. The actress (Biva) distributes water to her tired companions and at last when the actor comes in for a sip, she hands him the glass of water she had kept separately, which is when their eyes meet and then we see her stare at him like she has met her true companion at last.

After many years, I have found a very unconventional and unique voice. The voice has its originality, sweetness, romance and the throwings are just awesome. So crisp n clear. Many can be trained into a great singer. But voice is something that's purely a gift and I think Mr. Subasish is blessed with a great voice. Would love to hear him more in future. The most entrancing aspect of this song is the fusion of folk tune and use of traditional instruments. This is an outstanding composition rather than simply copying western music. I think we must show our originality promoting our own music more. No doubt the quality of the music videos has improved a lot.
