Am writing from Mundra, Gujarat right now. I first heard just a small part of this song in a remix on the Chill Mood channel. The Dil Diyan Gallan part. And, listening to this, on the highway, throughout the day, was too much. I do not understand Punjabi when sung in this way so when I reached Mundra, I asked my course mate and wonderful friend Nirmal Dhaliwal to locate this song. And he sent me this. I have sent this heart wrenching number to my wife of 28 years. To ask her to listen to Ms Gandhi at the same time that I am, on the highway, at sunrise, with the purples and the indigos and the oranges in the eastern sky and to think of what it is all about.
