Who is the coordinator in the big ten that will open up?

The 2 week policy makes sense. I think the next OC will have to bring in a qb because I think that room may be emptied out. Good show.

The 2 week policy is pretty pointless. They're going to hire who they want anyway. Posting it for the public doesn't mean anyone gets a shot. Like Matt said it can put WI behind other schools and put them at a disadvantage.

I understand the qb issue regards to portal out, but, I’m not so sure it’s going to be the case, or, whoever leaves may have thought it through even if Longo stayed. I expected movement either way.

I was thrilled with the defense. Just imagine the conversation if they’d been beaten by 40?

Is/what the difference between a power spread or the go-go RPO

Fickell is getting someone he worked with. Wisconsin is gonna get a power spread. We’re not just going back a pro style I formation.

Not that my opinion matters. But my realistic wish list for Badgers OC, in no particular order: 1. Matt Canada, former OC in college and NFL, including with the Badgers under Bret Bielema 2. Brennan Marion, OC for UNLV 3. Tyler Roehl, Associate HC/RBs Coach, ISU 4. Darrell Bevell, Asst. Miami Dolphins, former NFL OC 5. Tim Polasek, HC for NDSU 6. Drew Cronic, OC for Navy 7. Brent Vigen, HC for Montana State

I'm all in on Brennan Marion. I doubt it will happen but his Go-Go offense could be explosive with what Wisconsin can recruit.

Marion would be a good hire, Definitely no to Bevell or Canada.

Given the recent news out of FAU, I think Tom Herman is a name to watch as well. We assume Fickell has a list of what he wants: • Someone he has experience with --> He and Herman worked together at Ohio State under Urban Meyer • Runs an RPO power spread • Has success with developing QB's, specifically Greg Ward and D'Eriq King at Houston (King also went to Miami) • Has NFL experience, as he was an offensive analyst with Chicago in 2021. • Was just fired from FAU today, so there's no buyout. •Only question for me is his recruiting ability and identification of talent Feels like the stars are aligning a bit too well here. He wanted to be an OC, we need an OC, and he fits the bill. Tom Herman should be a name to watch for us

He seems to have a solid resume. He likes a balanced offense and has done a great job with QBs.
