If it's not too late, an acoustic lesson would be awesome. Really enjoyed this lesson!

Tupelo Honey is a beautiful song that I never get tired of hearing. Van Morrison sings this song with so much soul. Hearing you play it Jon makes me miss New Orleans Jazz Fest where I have been fortunate to see Van a couple of times. Thank you for covering this song.

I rediscovered Van Morrison and wanted a guitar how-to for Tupelo Honey. Your video really fit the bill. Thanks for the video and the respect you give this song. I learned a lot today.

Fun, nice job.I have always wished though that I had been blessed with those long skinny fingers you have. You have a huge advantage just having those fingers. I have short fingers so I cant use my over neck thumb thing and I broke my left wrist so I can no longer stretch my fingers out long enough to play chords like the 2nd chord you play in the progression.....OK enough whinning time to play again...LOL

Jon, how about a tab for this???

Jon, you look like you're not putting any pressure on the strings and they all seem to be clean? Something I've noticed with your playing cords. Thanks

Great point Jimmy thanks for sharing. Yes! I play very light. You have to develop a basic level of hand strength to play guitar, but then when I play I am trying to be as relaxed as possible. Don't push more than you need to.

Once upon a time, I'd lay my head on a lovely girl's lap and look up at her while she screwed around on guitar; somehow this reminds me of that sort of tinkering. Never worked up the ... chutzpah to find out if she was into girls ... well, or, more pointedly, into me. But she was certainly sweet as Tupelo honey ... Not bitter at all -- I've a fantastic life -- but I sometimes still think about her and hope that, wherever life's taken her, that she's happy ❤
