This remix also features the Rainbow Road from Mario Kart 7 (my personal favorite of the modern Rainbow Road themes), and Victory Lap; the staff roll theme from MK64.

If you pay attention to all the sides of the track, it's one thing to make the remix; Which takes hours to do each individual track, bass guitar, drums, piano, and electric guitar. Even sections with alternate sounds, especially for the piano. Not to mention two tracks layered on each other. Potential switching melodies, and melody merging as well, for seamless transitions. But that's only half the video, the other half is the crazy editing and footage layering needed to pull the video off, not including the music track. My compliments to you for the time put into these. (and yet this is just one channel, tons of other channels go through these same stuff, and the appreciation is lacking.)

My favorite part about the MK7 version is when I'm having a good time trial run, I hit the final part at about 1'11, right about when the music would normally transition into the MK64 melody!

A big reason why Mario Kart 7's one is so freaking good is specifically BECAUSE of Mario Kart 64's. You are playing and the theme is great, and then suddenly it switches to Mario Kart 64's melody and it's just a massive blast of nostalgia...and don't get me started on the final lap. When the final lap starts and that version instead BEGINS with the Mario Kart 64 melody, I think in a new key and obviously a faster pace, it's just...too much, it's so good.

Mario Kart is my favorite racing/fantasy game. I am a Sonic guy, but none of the racing/fantasy clones came close to this game.
