Well when you first meet Kirby all you see is a cute pink ball, so of course nobody realises how powerful he is. And you can't tell that he fights these things regularly since there's nothing left after he beats them. Like Kirby just looks the same before and after destroying something.

Honestly, it'd be awesome if Void's reincarnation made some sort of appearance in a future game, even if just as a cameo. Ever since he went to Rakuen (at least in the Japanese version, he gets to go to Paradise after Kirby finishes him off for the last time), I think Void Termina retired from this world-and-time-ending stuff. ...At least for now. The Japanese also keeps titling Void Termina as a considerably tamer "God of Destruction". Think of it this way--Shiva is also a god of destruction, and he is nowhere near prone to destroying worlds. (At least until it finally IS time for the world to end.)
