All songs on the Side-Quests 3 album, and all other Side-Quests albums, were randomly chosen from the GaMetal Patreon request list. This time around, I thought I'd also throw in a very popular request from the entire KZbin community to close out the album.
I've been wanting to do a duet with Sax Dragon, and he had mentioned Fire Emblem was a series he'd be interested in covering. So I brought up a very popular request: Twilight of the Gods, a song that placed in the top 10 most requested songs from the 2019 Song Ballot.
It was a bit overshadowed in the 2020 ballot by God-Shattering Star, but has still remained a popular request, sparked by my first short cover of it from in NES Medley #6 (as this song originally appears in Fire Emblem Gaiden as "Final Map"), then set ablaze further by the beautiful arrangement we received in Echoes: Shadows of Valentia.
I've modeled this remix off of the SoV version, and have arranged it as a Guitar and Aerophone duet.
Sax Dragon did a killer job and I really love how this remix turned out, we hope you all enjoy the final song from Side-Quests 3! :)

When I first listened to this song a year and something months ago, I absolutely loved this remix. This was at the time of when I was trying to learn every single Fire Emblem song in Smash Bros so I could whistle and remember all them perfectly. Ah yes, the bastard crushing theme! But really though, great job both of you. This is one of the best themes in Fire Emblem, and I'm actually glad it isn't in Smash. There's so much emotion behind the final battle, that I feel like it'd start to lose its shine if it was a stage theme. The same thing happened with Id (Purpose) from Awakening imo. Also obligatory "Shut up Tobin" since I haven't seen it in the comments yet.
