We've really been beefin up the Castlevania playlist the past few years, and we'll continue with another key theme from the Castelvania series: Simon's Theme.
No, not Vampire Killer. No, not Bloody Tears... it's Theme of Simon Belmont. They even conveniently made it the title for us. 🤪

@@artguy7992 Simon's got some serious guts. Another person Dracula probably fears would be Maria Renard. He (somehow) abducted the kid and held her hostage as prey until Richter released her. Instead of getting out like a normal person, she ASKS TO GO WITH RICHTER and is capable of completely breaking the game with her magical abilities. You can take down Dracula as Maria. Then four years later when her rescuer goes missing, she starts to storm Castlevania ALONE to see if she can find him. (While yes, she did team up with the respective protagonist of each game to ultimately fight Dracula, but she can still hold her own. I'm 99% sure those doves of hers are giant eagles b/c of how much damage they do.) This girl could be a Belmont herself.

I love this theme. It plays at the begining in the very first stage of SCVI and at the very end in Dracs final phase.

man this took me back to that first time i beat dracula, where the music is all dreary and dark and hopeless. faced with death after death but then suddenly i landed enough hits to enter the second phase and Simons theme begins to play, and i knew then i could defeat dracula! still gives me goosebumps, one of the greatest old school final boss fights in my opinon. awesome job as always man keep it up!

Honestly, when Simon was revealed in Smash, I kinda wished they used this theme instead of Vampire killer since, well, this IS Simon's theme, I really like this theme and although I only played Super castlevania once, it was a reallyfun experience and the soundtrack was amazing, good job as always on the remix ^^
