If you follow mma, basically all heavier fighters used, or use. Don't just follow people word for word. Steroid use gives you more confidence, if one was depressed, it brings one out of it.. when stopped, you generally feel lower unless you've had positive life changes. Thus the main reason for his losses afterwards. I think he also hid his steroid use from so many.. that he may not had been professional with it.. all to common. Testosterone is a he'll of a drug, and we produce it naturally. Food for thought.

You are so right. When you start taking gear you in a way sell your soul. As good as you look and feel on cycles you look and feel that bad off. And your point about age is so to the point. As you age and come off you don’t just go back to how you were. You are below zero as they say. I have as you have accepted that I’m a life long user. But beware. I have nothing but respect for Reem, met him at the Roseland in NYC for Strikeforce Grand Prix and he was such a nice guy he took a photo with me and pretended to punch in the face in the pic his fist was as wide as my forehead!!! I am 5 foor 8 170 he was an absolute monster. Then after he got popped and his chin totally went on him, he still managed to beat a ton of heavyweight killers which to me showed just how skilled he really was. He basically had to fight perfect fights as if he got caught he was going to sleep. Was so close to beating Steepe for the belt if only he he did not go for that guillotine

So overeem shouldn't be the one who is put outhere as a cheat but it's just that he also has great genetics so his body grows better then others on peds, same as trt vitor. Look at vitor when he was 19 😅 he looked like an apex predator

Alistair was caught using steroids most of his career. I know people want to shame those that get caught but the fact is a majority, if not all, of fighters were using it. It got to the point that those that were natural had to start using if they hoped to compete against those using. I agree with Jon Bravo because Allistair basically looks the same now after losing all the bulk as he did when he started his career. Great video once again.

I wish great content would be the reason you would get views on KZbin. Yes the title is clickbaity but it does have a question mark because this is what has been discussed by so many seeing his photos and did state it was not a disease IMO. Unfortunately the only way for any type of success is titles like this which is way so many creators are forced down this route. Things have changed online and they are forcing our hand with short content and making chances of long form content getting any traction near impossible. It's such a mess that it may force someone like me to move on completely. At least with my content you know the quality you're getting when you click it. Thanks for watching my man.

I tried going vegan for a while and lost mass about as quickly as Overeem. 190lbs to 140lbs in a few months. Without animal fats the food just runs right through you and it's darn near impossible to keep weight on. Also felt incredibly weak and sick. Stopped doing that, normal diet 3,000-3,500 calories/day back to 200 lbs. i also looked frail and gaunt like he does now, unless you're supplementing testosterone and fats somehow you're just going to have zero energy. I've never met a healthy natty vegan.

Another person gladly confirming that Veganism is a load of complete bullshit and should be avoided. I feel so sorry for you that you experienced the severe health problems as well as degeneration of your physique. It seems like you were most likely brainwashed by st*pid vegans to adopt that nonsense plant based diet they claim is so "great". Considering the extremely high nutritional value of animal products, it wouldn't come as a surprise that someone will eventually lose physical condition when they follow a vegan diet for a long time. Plant based diets are unhealthy and not sustainable for a lifetime. One can certainly live or survive on a diet consisting of only plants for several years, but eventually, the nutritional deficiencies due to a lack of essential nutrients from animal products will take a huge toll on the body and can cause or exacerbate certain health problems. The militant vegans will blame you for your health problems which was obviously caused by the evil vegan diet and claim that you supposedly did it the "wrong" way.

@@ikemo3551 Yeah I was working in a grocery store with a bunch of hippies. So many of the foods are low in calories and if you try to binge it doesn't help because with all the fiber and no fat it just goes through faster. The fats help slow the digestion process down so the intestines have time to absorb the nutrients. The problem is less the nutritional deficiencies of the food itself and more a problem with the ability to absorb the nutrients from the awful fibre/fat ratio. Having a 1,000 mph intestinal tract makes it darn near impossible to get the nutrients out of the food, there's pretty much always a feeling of being calorie deficient so the body starts eating itself to get energy. Felt hungry all day every day.

On the other hand, I'm 62, eat mostly plant-based (not entirely vegan) and have lost the "dad bod". I can do 12 proper pullups (all the way down to my head over the bar), 80 pushups, and I can trounce my teenage kids in 100 metres. The longest-lived populations on the planet eat little to no animal protein. So with respect, I disagree that a well composed, plant-based diet sets you up for weakness and frailty.
@ikemo3551

@@mastersathlete7380 You Ignorant liar, The longest living human populations on earth generally have a diet that is mostly comprised of animal based products, not plants. Majority of nomadic tribes around the world have a very high life expectancy and are much more healthier than most other people in the developed parts of the world. These primitive nomadic tribes such as the Masai Mara warriors, Hadzabe tribe of tanzania, lemba tribe e.t.c have a diet consisting of mostly meat produced either by their livestock or by wild animals through hunting events, and these people have been thriving for thousands of years and currently do today without experiencing health issues unlike people in the west. Even the very elderly among their tribes are quite very active and energetic enough to engage in physically demanding activities such as hunting. U are delusional. Being exceptionally physically fit at 62 is not an indicator that your diet is the best route to take in regards to health. So many men are capable of reasonable admirable feats of athletism at that age regardless of their diet. Sure, you can be healthy on a mostly plant based diet, but that entirely depends on what and how you eat. The question is how long will such a diet sustain you and whether or not you are at optimal health or will be in good health throughout your lifetime. Maybe you have been following this diet for just a few years so the possible, potential adverse negative health effects of lack of animal proteins hasn't taken a toll on your body yet. Nice try spreading plant based propaganda, you liar. 😂 You most certainly made this comment to discourage him for quitting veganism.

Stupid title of this video. He didn't come off everything. He is on maybe a trt dose. He still looks athletic and in great shape. I am 6"5 205 right now at age 41. I used to be 255 on high doses of testosterone and other stuff. I now am taking a trt dose and feel good and still look athletic. He, too, still looks good. Probably better than most of the population. If you stay on all that stuff long term, you have to take multiple other med's to control blood pressure and feel bad. I'm sure he feels much better.

Actually u sound really ignorant bro. When someone builds muscle they have mitochondria that gets stored in their muscles. Its called "Muscle Memory". So ur muscles may get smaller due to lack of water but u dont lose anything bro! One can get right back to where they were within (6) weeks. I know ive done this several times over the last few years. Due to the mitochondria stored in my muscle bellies I can get back to where I was really quick.

Overeem is naturally a skinny guy. Once he decided to inflate his physique with heavy PED use, his new muscles became his whole identity. That's why he ended up getting caught and blowing his chance at the UFC belt, he knew he couldn't keep being Ubereem without big doses of gear. So I'm glad to see him getting back down to his natural weight.

So true... I was afraid of taking steroids for fear of becoming addicted to them. People could not understand how I kept my size all year round. I never used steroids. I was addicted to creatine when it became a thing, taking triple the amount suggested. This created problems so I transitioned to the original suggested amount. I would see so many guys in the gym shrivel in size. You knew they were off of the juice!

The drugs changed everything. What i dont understand is that those guys are allowed to compete, cyclers these days have legs bigger then there head. Why pay soccer players millions to support there drug abuse...i cant watch that stuff anymore and am ashamed of whats goin on. If you want to take the "good stuff" by all means do so, but dont involve others.

7:20 I kind of haven't really followed mma or kickboxing for some years now but I didn't even know Alistair fought Badr Hari a 3rd time Badr Hari looked big Alistair looked big Alistair was out there fighting a guy who is taller (at least a couple inches taller) and he gets Badr to touch the canvas, and then makes him drop onto all fours, and basically faceplants while doing it, and drops him to all fours again That was a pretty impressive outing for Alistair considering he's 42, didn't fight kickboxing for a decade and is fighting a guy that stayed in kickboxing the whole time Alistair is the older guy, fighting a taller opponent, and had a very decisive win I know you've covered Kali Muscle Surprizingly Alistair and Kali Muscle seem to be kind of saying the same things. Kali calls himself a fruitarian. Alistair in the other video you posted, was saying I'm a vegan, and fruits are good, fructose turns akaline. Kali might've started with proportionally more muscle than Overeem but Kali seems to have retained more muscle through all he's been doing and still looks quite strong compared to the average person. either way, I hope Alistair is doing well in life.
