The 30 seconds that followed that lost fish in the fog spoke volumes. The passion the drive the and the anticipation leading to excitement beyond belief and then gone😢 but to find the resolve to pick that rod up and go again!

under the chin isn't as bad as on the shoulders like a harness, but it's close. the fish get a ton of leverage when they pull you downwards when you've got them hooked below the chin like that. their neutral game gets a ton of extra horsepower. it's the treble hooks. you can even pick one up in the middle of the fight and it puts the fish in another gear. running a rear single on all topwaters these days. no tail hook at all in a kayak, i grab the plug. you lose out on hookups though, so that's the line you walk.

Carp anglers in UK have a casting finger glove when they spod their bait out. You could try them🤷🏼♂️ Korda make them. In uk they’re for fannys though as they may only cast 20 spombs out then eldest for 10 hrs 🤣

Hey what is the best GT set-up under $500?
@JonnyBrooksFishing3 сағат бұрын
Tough one mate. GT like to break things so a full setup for $500 is probably gonna have to be replaced pretty quickly. I’d look at the mid range daiwa reels like the saltist for a start and find a rod to match. Hit the boys over at hot tackle up, they might be able to point ya in the right direction
@daveorr68485 күн бұрын
I would love to do this. Only issue is my body wouldn't let me. If I hooked into one of those things my body would experience unintended sudden disassembly. It would just be a mess of body parts on the deck!!!! 😜😜😜
