I appreciate Giger, Griffin, the whole online skate scene so much for all the enjoyment I get from watching these and allowing me to resurrect a part of myself. I'm 30 now and stepped on a board about a month ago for the first time in 6-7 years. Realized I will never be as good as I was but just being able to put-put around and able to do flatground kickflips and fakie bigspins and stuff gives me so much satisfaction. I really credit channels like Jonny's and the availability of old skate videos, shows like the 9 Club, BATB, and other online stuff for giving an outlet to get re-immersed in the culture of skateboarding so easily.

I don't know if it's actually possible but I had an idea of a "fake kickflip" where you would find a way to flip the board in an heelflip rotation while making it look like you're doing the motion of a kickflip. I think that would look so cool (if it's doable ofc)
