If a contestant did not win the bonus round, would they still have the option to take the money they won from their previous bonus round win? For example, if they were going for $200,000 and they lost, would they still have the option to walk away with $100,000 since that was the previous bonus round they won?

No they can't...this is when sometimes reality sets in and they feel trapped, since now they have no choice, except to walk off the show, with nothing. ..they have to keep going, either win or lose.
