With no regard what so ever for the biosphere his children are going to live in he keeps excessively traveling by air for nothing more than his own personal entertainment (!) He lives in Monaco/Marbella and is building a house on the other side of the world in Lombok, to which the only way to feasibly travel is by air thus making his CO2-footprint even bigger! He’s building a gas-guzzling speedboat (!) And a really, really ugly one at that (!)… He refuses to take CO2-footprint into account when buying his 10+ (?) latest cars. Smart? Sorry… I really don’t see it…

Thanks for sharing about your experience with burn-out, due to stress/over-doing things for too long. That will take a real toll on your adrenal system, and so now you need to work on building that back up. But, also.....didn't you say that they found a cyst on your thyroid ~ that could really affect your energy levels too. Just a thought. Glad you are looking after yourself and finding a new balance.

I have found this to be true. I recently gave up coffee for lent and I felt so much better despite the cravings. In the last week I have started drinking coffee again and it’s had a negative impact on work / productivity and sleep. It’s hard to reduce something you enjoy so much but I have to listen to my body. Plus running. Lots of running. Best kind of meditation for me.

David Lefrançois It breaks my heart that people take such awhile to figure this out. I suppose it’s because I am a registered nurse of many many years. I have seen so much. I have helped so many pediatric oncology patients pass. I have held their families as they wept for their children. Life is precious. Time is precious. All of this going, going, going ....let’s just say I am so content and peaceful to watch paint dry for hours on end. I think people miss so very much in life. I do have a remarkable perspective though. I LOVE doing nothing. I could sit and listen to the birds and the ocean for hours on end. People DO NOT know how to completely unwind and shut off. It truly is a gift. If you keep practicing you hopefully will achieve it. I practice yoga and meditation as well. I love to walk on the beach and play in the ocean. I moved to Hawaii 10 years ago. I AM FOREVER ON ISLAND TIME!!!! Aloha, peace and love to you. And by the way, your advice was fabulous!!!! ❤️😘💋🧜🏻‍♀️🌈☀️🌊🌺🤙🏻🐳☮️❤️

So the boat is for the Med, but you are stuck driving inside with no opening windows or opening roof? (The opening roof is further aft). And then at night sleeping aboard your 52ft boat, you have to lift the bed to use the toilet? And every time you go in and out of harbour you have to go down into the cabin and climb out through the roof to get to the foredeck to put lines and fender out? You might want to have a rethink of these aspects...

Thanks a lot for that “deep” talk at the end. I have mad respect for you & that talk bumped it up even more! Always listen to your body Jon, I find myself struggling to do so as well, but I feel like it’s even more important in your hectic life! Stay safe & healthy! Looking forward to the next vlog mate👀

Loving the energy in the recent vlogs. Boat is mega and needs to be called Overkill. Thanks for the honesty at the end because it's something I'm going through too and have struggled with a lot so thank you for making me feel more positive

I never really watched the F1, but since the beginning of this season I kinda have become an F1 fan, and I recommend you to start an open F1 fantasy league were all the community can enter, it s really fun.

I think a lot of people saw the burn-out coming. You could feel it in the vlog. Speedy recovery Jon! The vlogs are already increasing in quality again, so I think you're doing good. Take it slow'n steady. The best!

I know that staying up as many hours as you can gives you the sensation to have a whole lot more time to spend for projects and life, but consider this: there must be a reason why you need AT LEAST 8 hours of sleep. Maybe I'm not the right persone to say it, because I can't sleep more than 6 hours from monday to friday due to work schedule, but I have to admit that this life style took me to a pretty hard burnout phase: Anxiety, anger, frustration, rage attacks with the ones i love the most... You are "arrived" Jon, you've made it, there's no reason why you still have to be so stressed, enjoy life as you are already doing without feeling the necessity of doing alwasy more and more. Do it for the ones who are still hustling.

And tks for sharing on the burn out, reducing number of things that put unnecessary financial pressure and obligations helps, focus on the big stuff that really makes a difference (personal and professional), cut the rest as much as possible and boxing.

I work a lot on my own businesses just like you Jon. Something that has helped me a lot to avoid getting burned out is taking a 1 week break at the end of each quarter. No emails, No WIFI just relaxing and spending time with friends and family.
