I have helped so many pediatric oncology patients pass. I have held their families as they wept for their children. Life is precious. Time is precious. All of this going, going, going ....let’s just say I am so content and peaceful to watch paint dry for hours on end. I think people miss so very much in life. I do have a remarkable perspective though. I LOVE doing nothing. I could sit and listen to the birds and the ocean for hours on end. People DO NOT know how to completely unwind and shut off. It truly is a gift. If you keep practicing you hopefully will achieve it. I practice yoga and meditation as well. I love to walk on the beach and play in the ocean. I moved to Hawaii 10 years ago. So the boat is for the Med, but you are stuck driving inside with no opening windows or opening roof? (The opening roof is further aft). And then at night sleeping aboard your 52ft boat, you have to lift the bed to use the toilet? And every time you go in and out of harbour you have to go down into the cabin and climb out through the roof to get to the foredeck to put lines and fender out? You might want to have a rethink of these aspects...

Maybe I'm not the right persone to say it, because I can't sleep more than 6 hours from monday to friday due to work schedule, but I have to admit that this life style took me to a pretty hard burnout phase: Anxiety, anger, frustration, rage attacks with the ones i love the most... You are "arrived" Jon, you've made it, there's no reason why you still have to be so stressed, enjoy life as you are already doing without feeling the necessity of doing alwasy more and more.
