Love them!! My sister was nominated for make a wish and she wanted to meet Jon but he was on tour. I reached out to Summer (his gf) and she helped me get a video of him saying hi and wishing her well for her trip!! My family and I will never forget how sweet they were!! Also- we saw him opening years ago before he was well known and he was one of the most fun performers we had ever seen! Even though we didn’t know any of his songs, we didn’t want him to stop singing! It’s cool looking back on those videos to now.🙌🏻

This song never gets old because I’ll have to say as a Deep South country gal this west coast country sound is Grand Ole Opry greatness. They could sang the phone book and it’d sound good.💗🇺🇸

I couldn't stand "Heartache on the dance floor", (it was too "Poppy" for my taste) and "Head over boots" was good. This new album killed me. This is awesome, though I think I like "Just like old times" even better. Keep going, Jon.

I'll be honest, I had never heard him until I saw where he was replacing Morgan Wallen at a festival since Morgan kicked it with a few Alabama cheerleaders and has to Quarantine during said festival. That was about 3 days ago, and I have listened to this song probably about 50 times; and still yet not even close to being tired of it. It's like a mix of 90s Brooks&Dunn and late 80s/early 90s George Strait.

LYRICS Same old dive, same old end-of-the-work-week drink Bartender knows my name, but I don't mind She kicks 'em up strong, serves me up right And here I go again, I'm drinkin' one, I'm drinkin' two I got my heartache medication, a strong dedication To gettin' over you, turnin' me loose On that hardwood jukebox lost in neon time My heartache medication, well, it suits me fine And I'm drinkin' enough to take you off my mind I got my heartache medication Another girl, another dance to a country song Turnin' me on, here's to a good time And halfway to feelin' alright And here I go again, I'm drinkin' one, I'm drinkin' two I got my heartache medication, a strong dedication To gettin' over you, turnin' me loose On that hardwood jukebox lost in neon time My heartache medication, well it suits me fine And I'm drinkin' enough to take you off my mind I got my heartache medication Single, drinkin' doubles Teardrops turnin' into bubbles Yeah, a little later on I'll probably find me some trouble And here I go again, I'm drinkin' one, I'm drinkin' two I got my heartache medication, a strong dedication To gettin' over you, turnin' me loose On that hardwood jukebox lost in neon time My heartache medication, well it suits me fine And I'm drinkin' enough to take you off my mind I got my heartache medication Heartache medication Takin' me away Oh

Happy actual country is still in the mainstream. Refreshing seeing a country singer in an American Hat co hat, tucked in pearl snaps, and boots; instead of backward snapbacks, skinny ripped jeans, plaid untucked shirts that play a stereo type, and loafers/addidas. Steel guitar has its justice instead of a background instrument barely used, the guitars got a thick twang, the drums are acoustic/no snaps or claps, a crisp fiddle, authentic voice, and lyrics about heartbreak - Pure Country
@dancromell32692 ай бұрын
People don't like his voice because they think it's to twangy sounds like good old country to me!
