The soundtrack from Spirit just hit me like a tsunami of nostalgia! I loved that movie as a kid, and it still holds up today. I will always be very fond of it. How to Train Your Dragon will also have a special place in my heart, that franchise has meant so much to me for so long and it has helped me to get through some hard times. I cried several times during How to Train Your Dragon 3, can't believe it's actually over.

Dagum.... HTTYD 3 is the last of the franchise, and when I see it, I guarantee I'll cry more than once. I was practically raised with dragons. I remember I thought we were going somewhere fancy on a Sunday (don't remember where) but we dressed up nice, and when we turned into the movie theater parking lot, I got *really* excited because I knew the exact movie we were going to see. The very first How to Train Your Dragon. Ah man, I'm getting nostalgia just typing this.

Ahahahaaa... *sigh* I was smiling through tears for every single one, goddammit. Between the nostalgia and the memories of how emotional I got at each point these soundtracks were used when i saw the films, and just how powerful the orchestration was (and possibly a bit of PMS I'm not sure) this was just an emotional wringer of a video I have so many memories attached to eveyy one of these films, HTTYD and the Prince of Egypt especially...

The Prince of Egypt is one of the best religious and simply best movies ever, mostly because the core message isn't about loving God but rather about forgiveness, redemption, and being the best version of yourself instead of changing for the worse. There is religion but it isn't the core of the story. The message is about doing good but it isn't presented in such a condescending way. The voice acting is golden, the animation is beautiful, the characters are relatable, and the story is timeless. If you haven't seen it, then take the time to watch it.

Hearing the spirit theme song, I got teary. My childhood was very toxic and hard. I remember watching this movie and thinking it was the best animation ever. That movie means a lot to my heart. I can relate to some of the things spirit went through. This movie will forever be in my heart. Thank you dreamworks for such an inspiring film to be watch.

I like all of these but Spirit and Prince of Egypt are the most precious to me. My earliest childhood memories are full of those movies haha. I would reenact it all and the music from these movies has stayed with me for years. I don’t know if my kids will appreciate these movies like I did, but I at least want them to see. If they don’t, then so be it, but I will never stop loving these movies. They’re special 😊

I was so happy to see Spirit and Prince of Egypt on here. Those are 2 of my favorite DreamWorks movies with Spirit being considered my favorite animated movie of all time. Unfortunately both of them are rather underrated and cast in the shadows of more popular franchises like HTTYD and Kung Fu Panda (which are very good franchises). Just wish those movies would get more recognition than they do

How to train your dragon is definitely my favorite dreamworks trilogy, and they did a fantastic job of making it come to life, but something both Disney and dreamworks have in common is that the stories are based on stories that already exist. The How to train your dragon book series came LONNGG before the movie ever did. So as much as it might be an incredible movie, it’s not original.
