@@JonSpeedArts the new lore drop for Chara that was posted on Twitter (I think) lol. Apparently it confirmed (or at least highly strengthened) a couple of popular theories about them. Mainly that they were abused in some way before they fell into the underground. If you want a short summary, it’s basically a little speech from Asriel about how 9 is Chara’s favorite number, because it is the absolute largest number there can be. And that they believed that when you are absolute, you can no longer be hurt by anyone.

​​@@eiadithecoder620I understand that you think so because Undertale is about how we act, but in the game itself BEFORE our genocide Asriel says that Chara was not the best person, as they convinced Asriel to follow a terrible plan so that he could commit genocide against Humanity itself. They manipulated Asriel Many, many times, they poisoned Asgore and made him follow their❤ own plan even though Asriel felt it would go wrong. Undertale is a very detailist game, at many times on the genocide route, Chara take control of our actions, at the ending of the Route, WE DIDN'T HAVE KILLED SANS, when we miss the first atack, Chara atacks again to catch him And after that, they kill asgore ( we don't press any button in the battles anymore like on sans death) without even hearing him, When Flowey shows Asriel face and start talking about being their best friend, Chara smash him over and over and over again Theres a lot of clues that Chara likes the genocide we do, at the end of the Demo Genocide Route version, Chara says on red text as aways "that was fun, we should keep going" There's much more clues that shows Chara Interest on murdering, so yeah, Evil (Not the main cause of the Genocide, but certainly an accomplice)

Infamously after you beat Undertale's Title Defense mode and unlock Frisk's Last Stand, after fighting Sans several times DK has a random chance to appear as the boss instead. Very happy to see that represented in this arrangement!
