There is no question as to the talent of Billy's playing but as pointed out by Jools ...his songwriting skills as well. The only thing that surpasses those things is his amazing amount of humbleness. I feel like you could approach him and he would be the one who felt lucky to meet you. A long cry from many of the celebrities out there.

Actually, that "fifth Beatle" reference regarding Billy's entrance into the group was first coined by John Lennon. John and George were all in on his being a credited, long-term addition to their music. Paul not quite so much enthusiastically, and Ringo forever going along with what he felt best for the group. However, as the documentary clearly shows, the chemistry was there from take to take, and the sessions resulted in some of the most incredible moments in music history.
