kpop girl groups debut stage vs last/latest stage (the last 10 years)

I thought it was pretty clear cause I mentioned it but there seems to be some confusion. I only included comeback stages for each groups last or latest stage so where each group promotes their title track, not concert stages (even if they may have performed their most recently) except for IOI since they released their last song and didn’t promote it on broadcasting systems but only performed it on their last tour, that’s the only exception. And once again, I cannot add every single kpop girl group who debuted in 2011, in this video. It took me days to edit and finish this video and it really hurts getting lots of comments asking where one certain group is because I already worked my ass off to add this many groups.

“really hard” is a stretch. On each generation there are at least 10 medium-big groups that rise out of nowhere and plenty of tiny but self sustainable groups. Not even mentioning groups form other prominent companies that get the same “I have popular seniors, check me out” treatment, like Cube, PlayM, Pledis, Starship, FNC, RBW and a few others.

I think there are three soort of company’s: 1: big 3 (SM YG JYP and maybe HYBE) 2: ‘middel big’ (cube for ex) 3: small (blockberry i think for ex) by the big ones is I think a bit easier to stand out(for ex aespa and stayc debut at the same time, they are both really good but aespa is more famous) for the middel ones it’s also possible to stand out. For small ones it’s harder i think… but see brave girls, LOONA mamamoe but it MAYBE need some lucky chances But im totally agreed with that once the new groups have a popular senior, it can also be easier to stand out! (purple kiss of RBW for ex) I want to say with my comments that every trainee works hard, but to stand out they need some lucky chances… And it’s sad. Yeah I get what you're saying. - Any group in the Big 3+Hybe nowadays is automatically born at least a medium group that will have some hits (iKon, Winner, Fx, SHINee, Enhypen); - Then you have groups from medium companies that are born at least self sustainable but can grown up to be medium/big groups (Cube, Pledis, PlayM, RBW after MMM). BIGBANG's case was this one actually and they made YG join SM as the second biggest company (later followed by JYP); - At last, groups from tiny companies that are lucky if self sustainable and can become medium or big. BTS, Gfriend, H.O.T and Mamamoo are some prime examples of the ones that got big and there are many that became medium over the generations. So yeah, most groups won't get recognition but the bigger the industry grows the more groups can at least sustain themselves, I mean the quantity of groups with known names nowadays is much bigger than before. You can discover a tiny group you never heard about that is selling 10k-50k (which back in 2nd gen were numbers for medium sized groups), so yeah, unfortunatly some groups for not being lucky or for company mismanagement and loss of opotunitities (CLC), sadly never grow to be big, medium or even self sustainable but it's getting better as time goes (even with the big hit that was covid). Brave Girls case is actually very interesting. They didn't have popular seniors but had the Brave Brothers' popularity to lift them up and it worked, they were self sustainable for a while then the company put them aside and they became unheard of and were ready to disband until they got lucky with Rollin and the company was able to capitalized on that, just like Exid (but also like any artists that isn't a 1 hit wonder), and in contrast with CLC. They are somewhere between tiny and medium sized considering charts, sales and popularity but they will probably solidify as a medium group.

Crayon Pop also disbanded which I found out after editing the video and as for CLC, it was revealed that they were dismissed so they won’t be getting promotions anymore until their contract expires so that could also possibly be their last stage

Anyone who believes that lip syncing is required for difficult choreo should watch a live performance by DC and reconsider that opinion.

This is a great video. It saddened me a little to see my girls LUNARSOLAR not here, but they are from a pretty small company and most people don't know about them, so I'm not too upset lol. If you ever make another, I recommend looking into them! ^-^

IZ*ONE was one of my favorite GG’s of all time, their disbandment literally killed my interest for kpop. That only lasted 3 days BUT STILL!! I wasn’t a hard Gfriend fan but LEMME TELL YOU, I expected like 3-5 more years of their music, and then suddenly they gonna DISBAND?!?!?! I was mad as the scale of madness could go. THAT, killed my kpop lover heart for a WEEK
