A fully true vampire survival that would be. Allergic to sun. Cover as much as you can BUT your heat under all those clothing accessories to cover your skin would eventually overheat you anyway. So the mod would add some new clothing things that you could put on even when you have other stuff on. Helmet / facemask and hood at the same time? No problem, you can and also here's all the variables. You can also sew them yourself at the blacksmith leather thing or combine the mod with some other mod that adds little shops and trading Redguards or other culture like Morrowind's Dark Elfs. Redguards would sell those hats and facemesks, have special light fabrics to not get overheated because of sand and heat in Hammerfell. Dark Elfs would sell hoods because of the ash falls and capes from leather so you can more easily wash the ash from it. Nords sell fured hoods, gloves... Blah blah traders. Kinda like it is in Ice & Fire mod I thing? Cold Winter? But more detailed because it would include things like fabric type, a type of volume which would look like weight, price.... for how much does light pass through it. Basically that's why you get more time but die anyway slowly because of overheating so you have to sleep somewhere cold to keep your Vampire body from dying) Just..... Hear me out... This needs to be made... In short Vampire Survival Tailor pack, tailor shops and tailor traders, Can't eat garlic, some symbols of some God hurts you, fucking mod. Contact me directly in these comments if you're interested in the mod. I don't have the skills of the programmer tho but I'm willing to try modeling and something else if I figure it out fully

George Georgington comes from a long family line of Georges, beginning in the Georgian Era. The family's oldest, George, shot an arrow directly towards the sun. It got furious and cursed him and his family to die in 30 seconds when exposed to the sun. George, the youngest, is the only George left standing today. He was born in a small shack, at which point his mother, George, got so angry with having another child who looks the same as the others that she stepped outside of the shack and let herself die. George then spent the next 27 years in that shack, picking up words from passing merchants and civilians looking for Whiterun. When he was 27 years old, he mustered up the courage to step outside of the shack and jump between buildings. Not 10 minutes after his leave, he got caught stealing horses from the Whiterun Stables to hide under, and was sent to be executed. The sun was happy with the fact that the last George was going to be executed so stopped the curse, but a dragon attacked. The sun reactivated the curse, but it was too late, George had already made it inside. The rest is history...

I try to avoid the courier as long as possible but eventually the guy still gets me and then I get to once again listen to "RICHES BEYOOOND IMAGINING!.." This might have been a little easier with an Altmer. Movement speed is based on height in Skyrim, so the tallest race (Altmer) moves faster. Granted it's not a big speed difference, so I'm not sure how much it would help

We talked about this during the streams actually. I didn't want to spend too much time grinding for extra stamina, so taking adrenaline rush was a solid middle ground. Though a high elf with enough stamina to last 35 seconds would probably be the best strategy

I've got some ideas for this challenge, the key is obviously to increase your movement speed and stamina as much as possible. 1. As others have said, play as Altmer for the increased movement speed because of their increased size. 2. Go all in for stamina whenever you level up, also supplement your existing stamina with stamina potions or food (food can give amazing regeneration and even temporarily raise max stamina) 3. Continue not wearing armor. It reduces your movement speed, especially heavy armor. You can negate these penalties with the "Unhindered" light armor perk or the Steed Stone. 4. Become a vampire lord or werewolf. While in these forms, you have a substantial movement speed increase. I believe vampire lord receives the highest boost. You could also consider buying a horse but the animation of mounting one might cost you more time than it saves. 5. Whirlwind sprint. Combine this with the infinite shout glitch, and this run will be a cakewalk. The last 2 are difficult to unlock but once you do, the run should be substantially easier.

But then it's a solved game at some point. He should start with something like a minute and a half and LOSE a second every place he unlocks.

or it could be on a compounding basis, where each reward second becomes progressively harder to attain. Different source cite there being 300-500 locations in vanilla skyrim (with DLC & Creation Club locations included by some). If we assume there's around 300 (the fandom wiki page "Map (Skyrim) - Locations" lists 341, I counted with code), then we just need to distribute 300 locations across 85 seconds. This is pretty easy with some math and rounding, we say the first second requires 1 location and then play around with numbers for the maximum locations to win a second of outdoor time. Math is boring though, and this is fairly simple. The result comes in as follows; seconds 1 to 8 need 1 location seconds 9 to 25 need 2 26 to 42 need 3 43 to 59 need 4 60 to 76 need 5 77 to 85 need 6 Giving us exactly 300 locations to discover before reaching the maximum time of 2 minutes, which can then be used for the most difficult to reach locations. The reward is only applied once you're safely indoors, no matter how many locations you discover in the outdoor trip.

Altering the same video idea. Instead of only having 35 seconds throughout the entire thing maybe try 35 seconds at the beginning of the game and every time you get inside a place however many seconds you have left over will be added to the next time you go out? Add on to it as in add on to the individual seconds not the base number so you're not going to start at let's say 40 you'll restart at 35 if you die but it's just whatever seconds you have left over from last time get temporarily added to the timer

@@Joov would be really cool if it was also possible to retroactively improve things (when you get more stamina for example), but I think that would require graph theory, traveling salesman type problems or at least saving which indoors you came from and how long it took for each new indoors. Such that as long as you keep the from and to the same, but faster you can gain a little bit of time. Could also do a more 'wanderlust' version where each each new interior is just giving you time to live, flat (being indoors doesn't stop the timer, just new places add time)

Wouldn't it be easier to cheese a couple levels of sneak off the guy in the cave for a few extra points of stamina instead of the bear? You don't run the risk of a disease that way either. Also I'm pretty sure if you went from the tavern, across the bridge, up the hill there is a rock and behind that if you run straight at the base of the mountain (assuming you survive the fall) there is Palegia farm you could try to get into. From there getting to Whiterun would be cake.

High elves run fastest because in Skyrim height is scaled with speed. If waiting doesn't make the timer tick forward an hour waiting restores stamina.

I see that vampires as Cyrodiil (Oblivion) already have been mentioned. But playing one while I watched you video. I must say it was a cakewalk in comparision. She did spend some of the time indoors, stealing. But spent some time outdoors during daytime and didn't have much of a problem since she is properly fed. (Mages guild is such a good thing to belong to, provides easy feeding every night, basically everywhere.) Since I use mods even in Bruma after the Guild Hall was attacked.
