my thoughts while listening to this and also watching the music video.. i would best describe this as freedom from all the past. its also important to note how this song really captures and encapsulates jooyoungs personal story with his inner voice. the lyrics speaks for itself, being able to share and let go of that vulnerability must have been so difficult and i'm sure anyone can relate - those who may have painful experiences in life. thank you jooyoung for sharing a beautiful song, one that really struck a chord. life is filled with uncertainties and we must continue to trudge forward at our own speed. the metaphor with "my soles worn out" is like you've been running endless to get somewhere you want to be but that determination and feeling worns out over time just like "lost my butterflies" perhaps the path you keep walking through that doesnt see its end. dont ever lose hope and dont ever give up. you still have time to live. i hope everyone lives freely with courage. as the saying goes - there is a light at the end of the tunnel.
