the book brother Joram talks about, Muhammad by Martin Lings is not only the best English book of seerah, it is one of the best books ever written. if you can read that book without accepting that Muhammad (saw) is a prophet, then either God has hardened your heart, or you are deluding yourself. after the Quran, that is the 1 book I recommend all non Muslims to read. the book was written after the Saudi ruler felt there were no good English translations of seerah. he announced a competition for writers to come up with a good translation & Martin Lings travelled all over the Arab world, collecting the earliest sources he could. he won the prize & left the world with a truly life changing book. I can only imagine the amount of people who accepted Islam because of this book. I'm actually reading it just now for my 4th or 5th time. whenever I feel a dip in iman, this is the book I go to.

There are several versions of this brother's reversion story on this same platform already. Is it not about time people inviting him to speak came up with other topics for him in relation to the centuries old clash between Islam and the West, for example?
