I am a violinist, I practiced the drums, I also started bass, and recently I have been diving into modular, synthesis and sound design. We don't have to get started just like we don't have to practice this or that instrument to love music, but seeing the modular as bleeps and bloops is so reductive! And how do we make bleeps and bloops and what do we do with them? There is the question. I can also buy a Stradivarius and make horsehair with it or a Gibson to chain a series of 3 chords without interest! And putting this trial on Joran's modules shows that we haven't tried to understand his approach. I thought for the first time to find consistency in my system by adopting a configuration from the same designer and I was leaning heavily towards Joranalogue but after this video it's decided I make a box with all the modules! Great demo thank you!

I think Joran responded in a forum or something that the cables are inhouse made and would be way too expensive to make for commercial production.

Some people are synth builders and some people are synth players I suppose 😀 The Stradivarius family probably didn't demo their violins

It’s not for everyone for sure, great you did find your way! I’m glad we have different opportunities as we have different preferences.

I love the bleeps and bloops of filter pings with little delay and reverb. You don’t need rows of Eurorack modules to achieve something beautiful, just start using what you have.

Absolutely legit, a small Eurorack can be a powerful effect box, like a guitar pedal on steroids.
