I love your pep talks in the beginning. They always apply to what I’m currently going through. Is Jordaline a psychic? 👀 without a partner, there is more room for our impulsively bought books 😂

Light a candle, cozy in under your favourite blanket in the dark, and binge read Stolen Tongues on Halloween night. Bonus points if you put things near your candle so it casts a shadow near you.

Completely agree, I was single for nearly 10 years and have only recently given that up. Taking things slowly and this time around I'm putting myself first.

I am reading stolen tongues right now I'm a 150 pages in.and loving it! The prologue alone is super creepy! What you described is only like the 1st 3rd of the book maybe. I have never in my life read a book where every so often I have to peak over my book and make sure said thing in book is not also in the room with me currently! I do not recommend reading it in the but I do highly recommend reading it!!!!

also you should totally read "And the Trees kept in" and "The Dead House" by the same author they are so amazing and underrated. The dead house is literally about a girl who is thought to have "personality disorder" but in reality its two girls who share the same body. SO GOOD AND CREEPY i remember these being mentioned by Cameron from that gabby reads host vid and def think theyre worth a read if you like weird stuff
