I had the 85 bred on my list back when people were saying they would sit. I have all of the recent high 85 cuts, minus the one that came in that pack with the air ship. If I don't get the 85 bred, not sweating it, not falling for all this hype to spend 1000 on a pair of shoes that I intend to wear. By the way, I was also tracking those 85 Varsity Reds (or reverse breds) when they were going for $500. Waiting like a year or two. That's when I saw your video on the 85 reverse breds. Went back to checkout the prices, and then picked them up. 😀

Good advice!!! I paid 650$ for those Varsity Reds, at 48 I'm a sucker for the 85 Jordan 1s. Lesson learned, won't be spending that kind of money on these new ones. I do love that pair but I got smoked, because there were only 23k pairs. Also agree the new blacktoes are fire. Picked them up for like 180.

At the end of the day the Jordan bred 1's were never actually banned, it was the Nike airships. I understand the hype and marketing. I still have my 2016 bred 1's in great condition and scooped up the black toe reimagined last October for around retail so easy pass on the high 85 breds and the Nike disrespect. I already have the high 85 neutral greys and the reverse breds deadstock.

I'm going to save some money this 2025 because I have the regular Og Bred 1 high, Black toe 1 Og high, Air Jordan Black metallic 5 & Bred 11 low therefore I'm not going after the Reimagined collections. I got my reverse Bred's yesterday and it's a great shoe. As much as I would like this years drop on Valentines Day! Nope. Not paying double or triple the price for a shoe that is being overhyped in my opinion. Also got my black toe 1's back in November as well. Another great purchase. And paid retail or them then.

For me I’m not like the time where I have to get these like I have to get as soon it’s available. I don’t find getting a Jordan it’s a priority anymore. I learn to let it go and that they are is a better release from other brands other than Jordans. But if you getting it BnB, I hope you get it if you like it. Good luck. Yes patience pays a lot. I've talked about them quite disparagingly over the year's, but since I got those J1 chicagos at Christmas (my first pair since 1994) my heart has softened again for the Chicago colourway, and I think those union J's look great. There are some boutiques in south Florida that are releasing these but I’m just gonna pass on them $250 is definitely a steep price and I don’t think we’ll get a sneakers drop with how limited they are I prefer the Black Toes to the Breds that are releasing and I like the story behind them and if they’re below retail it’s easier to grab for a better price in my opinion I also just have other sneakers I want more than the Bred 85s. -Kara

Mine came today stupid final boss didn't get me per se but he did not follow delivery instructions and left em outside by my goats and they tore up the outside box and they got rained on luckily the shoe box which is a thick boy was undamaged and shoes are 💯 perfection. Threw them straight to foot. Very comfy right out box but look kinda meh but after a year or so of many wears They should break in very nicely. I've never made a KZbin video but I'm thinking of making one comparing my 85 Viberemakelab Breds to these 2025 Nike pair. I need a double up for sure but I'm waiting till they come down closer to the 500 price range I had to have these they were the first pair of Jordan's my late great mother aka MaDukes RIP 🙏 🪦 bought me that were over 100 bucks I almost lost her that day when her heart ❤️ dang near went out spending that much money for a middle school kid and we were dirt poor but my mom always wanted to make me happy.
