These are clean. Remind me of the NYC -> Paris J1 SBs from a few years back, even down to the pinkish accents. That said, I think the Chicago style color blocking on that pair is better.

Kinda funny how Nike determines the name of the shoe just solely based on the color of the “Nike air” tag. Like seriously these are bleached coral and that is the only coral color on the entire shoe. Similarly for the Hyper Royals Nike was referring to that Hyper Blue color on the “Nike air” tag as well yet that was the only aspect of the shoe that had that color.

I was really excited for these but the more I saw them I just kept finding faults. I would have preferred a white tongue (but maybe that's too much like the mocha's) didn't like the cracked leather and in the end I just wasn't bothered if I got them or not. Would rather spend my money on something I love than something I might get a couple of wears from

To my surprise I actually managed to bag these on release date through the snkrs app. I live in Norway. Just shipped from the NL. Can’t wait. I have lows and mids, but never highs as always sold out. But I do think these are way overpriced in my opinion at least. Not worth the 2K NOK I payed for them… also I was over it, until I saw this color way. Tho I didn’t realize they had “cracked” leather until too late, as hard to see in the official photos tbh.

And I didn’t get AF1 until 2016😝🫣 But not the same as it used to be now days. I love dunks, bur trash quality as you all know. I was trying to switch back to Adidas, as they have the same type of 80’s basketball shoe look that I like, and I prefer “flat shoes”, but quality check sucks in regards to the Forum Lows. I wanted the BW ones as they give the similar look to the panda dunks. I don’t get how hard it is to sow a shoe properly together, like I ordered 4 pairs one after an other because they were all defect when it came to the stitching at the cup sole or how the panels had been sown together. Tho Adidas are more affordable and also has superior materials compared to AF1, Dunks and AJ1 now days. But after those 4 pairs, I gave up. I actually like Puma, but often issues with the shape of the toe box as I have small, but wide feet. But we’ll see when I get my AJ1 OG Retro High Stage Haze in hand.
