2018s solely because of the raised patent leather. That's how they looked like in 96, and I'm glad JB are doing their best to mimic the originals. Plus the Jumpman on the lateral ankle is facing the correct way on the left shoe.

Pro Habits I think the 2018 is better. I like the higher patent leather cut and of course the 45. As far as the boxiness of the ‘18, to me it looks odd compared with the other retros. Sort of like how many were thrown off as a result of changing back to the higher patent leather cut of the originals.

Pro Habits I still have the original pair from ‘95. So it’s hard for me to resist comparing the retros to the OG’s lol! I try to stay positive and not nitpick too much about retros. For all I know, Jordan Brand might’ve made the ‘18 pair to look like MJ’s prototype pair , which looked boxy 🤷🏾‍♂️!

I was hoping the 45 would be stitched like the Space Jams. Otherwise I think these are a step up from the 2011s. The worst of the 11s had to be the count down breds. They Cool Grey and these improved slightly, but it wasn't till the Space Jams that the quality was really stepped up. These seem like a slight step down from the Space Jams, but still good.

Dont care what anyone says, that higher cut of the patent leather is trash, Og or not. That half inch of the black patent leather on a white mesh just looks so much fresher and makes so much of a difference. (In my opinon.) I didn't grow up in the 90s like you did. I was born in 99, grew up in the 2000s so the low cut patent leather is what im more used to. I dont like the 45, the 23 belongs on the 11s anyways. Thats MJ original number.

@@xers6704 Because the quality on the patent leather of the 2018s isnt really that good, its cheap and gets scratched too easily, patent leather on the 2011s isnt like that. Ankle part creases too easily, 2011s is more stiffer so it cant crease too easily like that. The QC isnt really as good as it use to be back then.
