Jordan is exactly who elite gymnastics needs. i hope her authenticity and joyfulness carries through to future generations. this sport has been long long long overdue for some dramatic changes in attitude and culture and Jordan plus many of the other women out there are being that change!!! i knew they could do it and i don't feel very surprised but just so happy.

Can journalists stop interviewing other athletes about Simone in stead of their own performances? 80% of the questions to Jordan were about Simone. I find it kind of insulting that apparently she isn't interesting enough to ask questions about. Interview each person about their performance, have some respect.

I agree 100%. It’s so frustrating and looks slightly disrespectful to that athlete because almost every interview from this competition, every person was asked what’s it like to be around simone, what did you think of her performance etc. like oh my god! Stop asking about Simone and ask about them!

maybe if jordan actually trained and was ready and competed and did well on all 4 events it would be more warranted? she only did 2 events and goofed off more than anything..
