Your playing and performance is so confident in these late shows.

Yeeeeaahh...like this is after years of Trouble's Afoot rock shows, etc, etc...I think the solo thing felt relaxing to me compared to that. Also playing electric guitar like here was so much easier than the acoustic ones I had. I want to play shows again...This came from me finding a big digital pile of shows I didn't know I had. I've spent the past 2 days listening to my own stuff and feel like inspired.

When you write, do you tend to write with just you and your guitar and then try to make a demo after the fact?

I think 90% of my songs were written as just me and a guitar like sitting on my bed. I used to write them fully, practice a bunch and then make a demo. But the past few years I just start my demos before the song is finished being written, because it's become the only way for me to finally finish a song, as a way to finish a new recording. If that makes sense. A demo has been my new way of kind of laying the whole thing out and structuring it and connecting parts to each other, which used to be a more natural, effortless process to me and just happened by itself, but I overthink it now.
