🤷🏽‍♀️I'm missing something. I enjoy simple melody and rhythm. Fantastic harmonica .But the lyrics? Outside what? What have we learned... that 3 chords 5 notes and 4 words repeated and repeated... And repeated mean what?

They wrote it because they felt like outsiders in the music industry. Aspiring to be a rock band, but Bear and his brother Bo (no longer in the band) grew up as pastors kids and have Christian themes woven into their music, so they got pigeon-hold as a Christian band, when they were simply Christians in a band trying to be a rock and roll band.
