Jordan has an amazing talent to bring the (sad) truth to the foreground, that there are thousands of people who want to feel as though they belong, and they're comfortable following the ignorance shown to us, up close and personal w/Jordan. After I'm done laughing, I cry for the democracy, that never achieved the goals set in the constitution. In those very early years, they had no idea that citizens of so many different backgrounds and divergent points of view would backslide to mobs with artillery (Not muskets). They couldn't have begun to imagine that so many peoples' minds would be controlled so easily with technology.. The 1st and 2nd amendments were very progressive ways of creating a republic with a democratic system of governing that could avoid becoming a monarchy. Was Fascism a word not yet invented? Dictatorship unknown to them? Are we destined to repeat the 1930s & 40s, as we watch state legislatures manipulate laws, to keep certain groups from casting their votes. Sad. Scary. A call to action. ll to action.
